Booking your own trip with Travel Agent Tools

Travel agents will save you time, there is no doubt about it. In a recent study, the average traveler will visit 277 web pages of travel before booking a trip. It works out to be about 2.5 pages per day before booking a trip. It could be because you are searching to find the best deals or having a hard time deciding on a hotel. Travel agents can help you save time. If you still prefer to do it yourself (DIY) with booking your own trip, I have come up with tools to help with booking your own trip with travel agent tools. Yes, sometimes, travel agents use the same searching and booking tools as travelers, only we get a travel agent logon.

Booking your own trip with Travel Agent Tools

Here are some popular Travel Agent Tools and Suppliers where you as a regular traveler can take advantage of. Beware, you wont receive the perks that travel agents can provide, if you do it yourself. But, if you still want to put yourself through the time and stress, here are some tools to help:

Expedia - There are plenty of online booking sites and Expedia is one of the top wholesalers. I like Expedia because if you need to make a change, you can simply open up a chat window. Expedia is often the lowest in terms of booking packages, flights and hotels together.

Viator - For tours and excursions, whether you are looking for a guided museum tour, a food tour, or a ride from the airport to your hotel, Viator provides all of that and more.

Faye Travel Insurance - Faye is a travel insurance provider. Travel insurance can come in handy in many ways, to provide you medical coverage while traveling overseas, if you are worried you have may an interruption before or during your travel that may cut your trip abruptly, or whatever that may come up, travel insurance will get you covered. Please consult the policies for details on the coverage.

Classic Vacations - Classic Vacations is not a self service booking engine, but I used them for groups travel and destination weddings. They have connections with all inclusive in Mexico and more. It's a great resource for that type of travel.

Tickets - I used Events365 for tickets to concerts and sporting events.

Virgin Voyages - If you want adults only cruises. Virgin Voyages is the best. Providing the best food, entertainment, and activities. You wont have kids playing pranks on your cruise ship, like what I've heard on other cruise lines.

Viking River Cruises - If you prefer a little slower pace, Viking has some of the best River Cruises. It's the most preferred from my clients. In addition to river cruises they also do ocean and expedition cruises. For a slower pace atmosphere, Viking is the way to go.

With these tools, you should be able to play anything yourself. Of course, if you need any help, please feel free to reach out to me.
